Used Pemf Mats:

Beware of buying USED pemf mats - there is always problems. A used pemf machine can still turn on but the frequency signals may have lost their shape and may be totally distorted (yes, you can take an AM/FM radio and move it over the mat and hear if it doesn't work anymore.

Amplifiers and signal generators degenerate over time - This is why people call me that have older Bemer mats and tell me they aren't getting the results anymore. These people go on Ebay and try to sell it to the next person and the next person buys it and now thinks pemf is a scam since they bought a degenerated pemf machine.

Used mats - Coils and wires in the mat oxidize and wear out. I have taken apart older QRS and Bemers that have error signals and compared the capacitors and resistors (circuit boards) to ones that work.

More reasons not to buy older, used pemf machines so you don't get distorted signals.

Worn out capacitors - this part of the circuit board is responsible for shaping the waveforms. As the pemf circuit board ages, these electrolytic capacitors dry out and don't have the original capacitance. This makes the waves distorted especially at high intensity levels.

Worn out components - transistor and rectifiers in the circuit board wear out that leads to not making the waveform that the brand advertises. If the amplifier is overworked for years, the signals it amplifies can fall apart as shown on our osscilipscopes.

Electrosmog pollution - Many older machines suffer from electrosmog pollution where "unwanted" frequencies are
mixed in to the signal. EMF is the biggest concern as it mixes in with the frequencies and distorts the clean wave the pemf machine is making. A sine wave can turn into a jagged topped wave.

Overloading (turning on the highest level) - unless it's a solid state pemf mat, turning it high can damage the amplifer and overwork it. This is the best way to "clip" the waveforms and the signals degrade and distort over time.

Magnet test - This is not a way to test to see if the signals are distorted. This just shows if the mat has a magnetic charge. The AM/FM radio test is the way to hear exactly if it is distorted or not. If you want to see the frequencies to make sure it works that is when an ossciliscope is needed to observe the waveforms.

Fading Magnetic Fields:  The coils in the mat can lose strength with overuse. The coils in many older pemf mats are corroded and oxidized mostly from humidity.
If you are using a used pemf at and the waves are distorted the benefit of pemf goes away. It may be ok if using it on the lower intensities but level 10 is where most distort when they wear out. Most of the used pemf mats are found on Ebay. If you plan on keeping your machine for a long time, solid state pemf mats last the longest.
Older pemf machines may not have error messages and still work after 10 years of use but the signals can be heavily degraded

We were loaned pemf mats when we started.
If we have the mat you want to try available, there's no reason why you can't try it out first. We don't rent them or charge anything. We loan them.
