Most of the Pemf machines do continual pulse of whatever frequency its set at and stays at that level. The newer type machines have varied frequencies. The newer type Pemf generators can give off intermittent pulses as well as pulses that go up the mat or down the mat. Many people like the pulse to start at their feet first and then move up to their neck while some people like the pulse type that does the entire body at the same time. There is not one better Pemf pulse type than the other. It depends on the preference of who is using it. Also, some of the newer Pemf machines can vary the pulse type by making the pulses around an injured area stronger or weaker while the just say around the neck the power can be turned up or down.
I urge people to make sure they get all the pulse programs they think they will need for themselves for with patients. Take my Pemf quiz and I will recommend a Pemf generator or mat based on your answers. Take my Pemf quiz here.
